In addition to using Energy Center steam for space heating, domestic hot water and air conditioning, some customers also tap it for industrial purposes and many of the system’s hotel customers rely on the steam for kitchen and laundry use. Plus, the E&O Trading Company restaurant – a microbrewery – utilizes the steam in making beer.
